ABOUT US

Fredrik, born in Stockholm Sweden, has been a birdwatcher and nature lover since childhood. He rediscovered the orange-throated tanager in Februari 2006 in Shaime area. Now he works at the Cabaņas Yankuam as a local bird guide, as well as cook, waiter and driver. In Sweden he has a backround as a surveyor in tunnelling constructions.

France, born in Loja Ecuador, studied tourism administration in Quito. She started this tourism project 1997, with her parents Carlos and Clara. She is now your hostess and the owner of the Cabaņas Yankuam.
