YANKUAM LODGE
The lodge is located three kilometers south of the village Orquideas at the Nangaritza river in Zamora-Chinchipe. It contains three buildings of 12 rooms with a capacity for up to 30 persons. Four of the rooms have private bathrooms. The bathrooms have cold water coming from the black water streams of the tepuí. There is electricity in all rooms. We also offer laundry service.
In the restaurant delicate food of great variation is served. Our dishes are created from both the local and the european cuisine and we are also proud of our vegetarian meals. If you have any wishes in particular or if you are allergic to some ingredients, please let us know as soon as you make your reservation. The restaurant has an open and spacy atmosphere with great views of the garden and the tepuí.
We arrange a complete tour of two, three days or more, including transport either from Zamora or from Loja. If you come by own vehicle, please check our "getting here" secion. There is also public transport from Zamora to Orquideas. Please contact us for more information about timetables etc.
